I'm pretty proud of my team here at Mad Media, so I thought I’d introduce you to them. After all, our team is really what makes us successful!
Today we're profiling Alanna, who has been working with us since 2017 now and is an integral part of our success with #MadSkills in client scheduling, content curation, and sales (among many other things!).
What do you do for Mad Media?
I’m the Social Media Coordinator at Mad Media. I assist on projects with all of our clients and I complete some of the scheduling, copywriting, content curating and analytics.
Where do you call home?
I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, but I made the move west to Victoria, BC about a year ago. However, I’m currently packing up my house and moving to Vancouver in August.
Where is your favorite space to work?
I love being outside so when the weather allows it I love working outside in my yard with my dog Queso sitting beside me!
What is your favorite part of you job at Mad Media?
I love how flexible the job is. I can spend a few hours in the morning and for lunch I can be on the water in my kayak, then back to work before dinner! I really like the creative aspect this role brings. We work with a wide variety of business and I love learning about new companies that I never thought I would be interested in, let alone writing Twitter and Facebook copy for!
When you're not working, what are you up to?
I love adventure! When I’m not in front of my computer I really enjoy biking, kayaking, running, hiking, and snowboarding. I also work as a teach scuba diving as a divemaster so I love being underwater.
