Role Overview
The Creative Lead serves as the operational and creative support arm of the Creative Director — helping to bridge high-level vision and day-to-day execution across the team.
This role exists to help strengthen creative quality, support the team operationally, and ensure projects continue moving at a high standard without requiring the Creative Director to be involved in every detail.
The Creative Lead will provide creative oversight, support internal initiatives, assist with client-facing creative strategy when needed, and help maintain consistency across content, communication, and execution.
This role balances leadership, collaboration, organization, and creative instinct.
Core Responsibilities
Creative Oversight & Quality Control
- Review outgoing content with a creative lens to ensure quality, clarity, storytelling, and brand alignment
- Proofread Loomly content calendars for design, spelling/punctuation/grammar, and overall execution
- Assist team members in strengthening creative direction and TikTok direction within content planners and campaign development
- Step into calendars when timelines are at risk to help maintain momentum and execution quality
Team Support & Department Leadership
- Support the day-to-day operations of the creative department
- Support sales with mood boards and other pitch materials
- Help reinforce and evolve MMG’s creative standards and processes
- Act as a support resource for the team on ideation, creative problem-solving, and execution
- Assist with new software/program/process implementation and adoption
- Assist with prioritization and communication across projects when needed
- Help identify gaps, bottlenecks, or opportunities for improved workflow
- Provide strategic support on creative direction, storytelling, and campaign execution in content planning
- Audit and support content planners for content production needs
- Galvanize and champion AI adoption and amplification with the creative team
Client & Strategy Support
- Hold a roster of 3–4 client accounts directly to maintain flexibility to support larger or high-priority projects as needed
- Attend client meetings when creative support is needed
- Assist with content presentations and campaign rationale
Internal Brand & Marketing Support
- Liaise with internal marketing team initiatives (disseminate marketing’s needs and requests, triage and delegate to creative team)
- Assist in organizing:
- internal content shoots,
- headshots,
- team photos,
- and company creative assets and shoots
- Support the Creative Director’s LinkedIn presence through development of thought leadership content

Compensation Structure
- Pay Scale: $62,000 - $68,000
- Revenue Share Component (RRC): 1% - 2% based on tenure and client roster
- Team Performance Bonus: SMC team performance-based bonus structure tied to overall team success and delivery standards.
Accountability Metrics
- Department-wide Creative Quality Rating of 4 or higher.
- Creative incidents. No more than 2 per quarter.
- Department-wide Timeline achievement of 90-100%.
