When an Oops Turns Into a Smile.

This all started with an oops. We mistakenly sent an influencer product to their old address and were unable to retrieve it. The team sat down for a brainstorm session on how to rectify the situation for the client and thought how kind it would be to follow up with a surprise letter, letting the receiver know we are owning the oversight of the mis-ship and would like to spread some everyday smiles to whomever they are with a new water bottle from zak!

This small idea quickly snowballed into a bigger idea... what if we could spread Everyday Smiles to more people across the country? What if we could surprise people as they are casually walling down the street with a new zak! tumbler? The Everyday Smiles Campaign was born.

What We're Doing

Overall the campaign was incredibly successful in increasing brand awareness across all platforms which is indicative of the increase in metrics across the board. This is also seen in the amount of website traffic from social media. Social efforts during this time contributed to 40% of all website sessions which is well above the industry average of 10-20% and social media accounted for 26% of all new users.
